Kindergarten ONLY will be dismissed at 11:20 AM through the MAIN ENTRANCE. (We strongly encourage Bus Students to be dropped off & picked up on the First Day Of School by a family member. who is listed on their Emergency Blue Card). Grades 1 – 5 will dismiss in the School Yard at 2:20 PM located on Stillwell Ave.

Full Day of School for All Grades IK – 5th Grade
The school day begins at 8:00 AM – 2:20 PM. Our school doors open at 7:30 AM daily for breakfast. Please be sure to use the Stillwell Ave. entrance which is located in the School Yard through the large Red Doors for Morning Arrival & Pick Up for Dismissal.
At 8 AM Sharp, the red doors and gates will close in the school yard. After 8 AM you must enter through the Main Entrance on Avenue P. Please be sure to escort your child to the main lobby , where a staff member will be there escort your child to class. Please do not leave your child alone at anytime. After 8 AM your child will be given a late pass and will be marked late.
If you are late for pick up for 2:20 PM Dismissal, the late room will be located in room 122 located on the first floor. If you are running later than 5 minutes, you must call the Main Office.
Please allow ample time on the first few days of school to park and walk your child into the school yard to find their new teachers / class. There will be staff members with clipboards in the school yard to assist you.

On the 1st Day of School your child/children will receive a communication folder will very important information. Please be sure to return all paper work – permission forms (photography & video consent , walking permission slip for field trips, and blue cards (if you have not handed in 3 blue cards at registration) ASAP !! We MUST have your child’s emergency information ASAP!
SchoolFood Application Online
NYC Department of Education requires that one form Must be completed Online www.nyc.applyforlunch.com . Every family is required to complete this form regardless if your child does not participate in the SchoolFood Lunch Program. Please be sure to print your confirmation receipt. Great News- As per SchoolFood , ALL STUDENTS FOR THE YEAR 2018-2019 WILL EAT FOR FREE! If you have a balance in your School Bucks account, please contact https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ for a refund.
